Serpentine Ridge
Paul Rochford came up with the idea of adding a curved ridge running through the border. This makes the view of the border more interesting and allows the planting to be more easily seen. 2nd July 2019.
New Lawn
The frontage of the Herbaceous Border has been returfed to smarten up the display. During the show this will be maintained by a robot mower. 3rd July 2019.
Setting Out
The first plants to be laid out are the trees and shrubs. These form the structural backbone of the border and act as a backdrop for the herbaceous planting to follow. 3rd July 2019.
